We are delighted to announce that Prof. Junichi Tsujii, NaCTeM Scientific Advisor, has been awarded the honour of Person of Cultural Merit in Japan, for his outstanding contributions to natural language processing and artificial intelligence. The Person of Cultural Merit is awarded by the Japanese government to individuals who have made exceptional contributions to Japanese culture
