Talk at British Library Labs event: Text Mining: Tools and Opportunities

Sophia Ananiadou, director of NaCTeM, will give a talk on the Mining the History of Medicine and Mining Biodiversity projects, at an event entitled Text Mining: Tools and Opportunities, to be held at the British Library, London on 27th November 2014.
The purpose of the event, which is free to attend, is to foster an understanding of how to bridge the gap between research ideas and data, to enable the study of digital works with novel and useful techniques. The event will bring together experts developing tools and services with those who might want to use these techniques in their research.
