Invited Talk at Salford Research Day

Prof. Sophia Ananiadou, director of NaCTeM, will give an invited talk at the Third Annual Salford Research Day, to be held on Thursday 11th September 2014.
The Research Day is being held as part of the Salford Research Week, which will celebrate how clinical trials and research help to find cures for diseases and improve treatments for patients.
Prof Ananiadou's talk, entitled Unlocking the power of clinical records using Text Mining, will take place as part of a special "tomorrowâs world" showcase session, which aims to highlight some of the new technologies that could be used in future.
