The National Centre for Text Mining (NaCTeM) and Faculty of Medical and Health Sciences are hosting an afternoon workshop to increase awareness of the benefits of text mining across the University and its associated partners. The sessions will contain a brief introduction to text mining followed by presentations from users already experienced with text mining technologies. Opportunities will then be available for hands on demonstrations of current NaCTeM software, followed by an evening reception giving delegates a chance to speak to the text mining experts from the National Centre for Text Mining.
This FMHS-focused event will showcase text mining in practise, with speakers providing an insight into how the software has been used to maximise their research outcomes. This event should be attended by clinical researchers and related-administrative staff.
Online registration for the event is available here.
