BioNLP 2011 Workshop accepted
2010-12-07
We are pleased to announce that the proposal for the BioNLP 2011 workshop, to be co-organised by Prof. Sophia Ananiadou, has been accepted. The workshop will be held at ACL HLT 2011 in Portland, Oregon, on June 23rd or 25th, 2011.
Over the course of the past nine years, the ACL BioNLP workshop has established itself as the primary venue for presenting foundational research in language processing for the biological and medical domains. The workshop serves as both a venue for bringing together researchers in bio- and clinical NLP and exposing these researchers to the mainstream ACL research, and a venue for informing the mainstream ACL researchers about this fast growing and important domain. This year will be the third year that the workshop is associated with the new SIGBIOMED special interest group.
