Prof. Sophia Ananiadou took part in a Webinar entitled "Enabling the Research Community to Deliver a New Era in Scientific Search and Discovery" on Friday 10th December at 15:00 - 16:00 GMT.
Prof. Ananiadou contributed to the discussion of how applications enable scientific researchers and librarians to further analyze, discover and enhance the research experience at the same time. Applications of differing disciplines and categories were covered.
The presentations in the webinar covered:
- Different research obstacles that applications can address
- Specific examples of applications that enhance the research experience
- How researchers, librarians and developers can collaborate to build new applications
