XHPSG: Underspecified Syntax (1/4)

• Weaken the constraints described in lexical entries in XHPSG.

• Final Goal: Error Analysis from parsed corpora in a semi-automatic manner.

  • If
    • a correct parse tree is not generated by the original lexical entries and
    • a correct parse tree is generated using weaken lexical entries,
  • then
    • weaken parts is probably erroneous in original XHPSG.
