You can start U-Compare by simply double-clicking on the standalone version that you have previously downloaded to your machine. U-Compare will then need a few seconds to load all the necessary libraries.
Once U-Compare is started, you should be able to see U-Compare’s graphical interface as illustrated in the following screenshot.
U-Compare’s interface is divided into two panels. The right panel contains ready-to-use processing components (e.g., sentence detectors and tokenisers). The left panel is used to design an NLP workflow. Users can rapidly create NLP applications within U-Compare by simply dragging components from the right panel and dropping them to the left panel.
