Invited Talk at Text and Data Mining Symposium in Cambridge

John McNaught, deputy director of NaCTeM, will give a talk at the Text and Data Mining Symposium to the Held at the University of Cambridge on Wednesday 12th July 2017
This day of talks, workshops and discussions will aim to answer questions such as the following, in order to adress the changing nature of research:
- What is the potential of text & data mining (TDM) to impact on the changing face of research?
- How are researchers today using TDM to cope with the ever-increasing amount of information available?
- Are funder and publisher policies adapting to reflect both the legal right UK researcher have to mine published literature and the new possibilities TDM now present?
